Forget me not study- forever- Watercolour and soft pastel painting

£45.00
Sold

This little study of forget me nots is made using layers of watercolour and soft pastels to create an old, or vintage feel to it. I use high quality cotton paper and artists paints and pastels.

The inspiration for these came when my sons made me a small bouquet from the garden. It reminded me of cherishing the small beautiful moments. The name of these flowers certainly has a different meaning to each of us but it also felt like a reminder of what truly matters, of loved ones, passed or here with us…

These flowers also mark the beginning of spring here in the English countryside in Devon and are full of hope I find…

I have chosen not to use any fixative so the pigments are fragile and I’d recommend handling carefully from the edges, as well as framing under glass as soon as possible.

4x3 inches

I try to edit the images as close as possible to the real painting, but colors will appear different from screen to screen.

Signed at the bottom right corner.
Carefully packaged and posted in a hard back flat envelope.

Sold unframed. Frames shown are for illustration purposes only.

All sales are final.
